Applications are invited to fill the above post starting from mid-August 2025.

Requirements :

• The applicant should be a native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English competence
  
• Preference will be given to applicants with experience in teaching English as a second/foreign language
  
• A bachelor's degree in English Language or related disciplines from a Hong Kong university or equivalent
  
• A recognized teacher training qualification in secondary education
  
• Post-graduate Diploma in Education or equivalent
  
• A teaching of English as a Foreign Language or a Second Language (TEFL / TESL) qualification at least at certificate level, or an equivalent course of study recognized by the EDB
  
• At least 1 year's post-graduate experience of teaching English (preferably as a second or foreign language) at secondary level or above
  
• Pass in Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) scheme
  
• Pass in Basic Law and National Security Law Test

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Create a rich, authentic environment for students to learn English
  
• Teach English as a second language
  
• Develop teaching and learning materials and collaborate with local English teachers
  
• Organize English related activities
  
• Promote an English-rich environment

Admitted applicants are required to produce documentary evidence of having / not having been found guilty of criminal offence, e.g. a Certificate of No Criminal Convictions (CNCC), from the countries / cities where he/she has resided.
